Slovenia
was a very good find. I wouldn’t be surprised if more Japanese
people came to visit the country soon. The country itself is not
a very large place with the population of only about 2,000,000
but the nature is very diverse that you can enjoy many different
things in a short time span. Ales looked after us very well too.
Thank you.
After Slovenia is South Africa. I
was able to connect with this country through Gunter Pauli from
ZERI International. He had spoken for us at our event last November
so this is like reciprocation in a way.
This was my first time visiting this
country. I have been looking forward to what would be waiting
for us. I would like to share my experience with the photographs
that Kazuko photographer took.
There is a direct flight from Frankfurt to Cape town on South
African Air. I have to say that that flight was a very comfortable
one. A flight bed, good movie, good food, warm blanket and pillow.
The flight was a whole twelve hours in the middle of the night
but I was able to sleep very well on it. I left Frankfurt at five
that evening and arrived in Cape Town the next morning at five.
I don’t have to worry about the jet
lag because we just flew pretty much right south from Frankfurt.
Even though it was early in the morning our organizer, Nirmala,
came to pick us up and brought us to our beautiful hotel. Apparently,
the hotel owner’s mother is a very big fan of my Message from
Water that she provided four days of stay at that hotel for free.
The garden, as you see in the photograph, was very beautiful and
the place was surrounded by a mountain called the Blue Mountain.

There a big tortoise that takes a walk in the garden.

I had to go say hello to the old
resident.
This is a beautiful bouquet of flowers in the lobby
of the hotel. Spring is just about to start there so more flowers
will start to bloom.

There was a cannon at the entrance of the hotel
too. I’m Masaru (meaning victory) and was born during the war
in 1943. My wife is Kazuko (meaning peace) and was born after
the war. I guess that difference comes up every so often.

There were many flowers in the hotel
garden.
That night I was invited to a dinner at Nirmala’s
(she’s the one standing right behind me). The one on the very
right sitting down is the mother of the hotel owner. She was a
very friendly kind woman. Everybody had great hado as my first
day in Cape Town ended happily.

The next day was a beautiful sunny
day and I can see the mountain very clearly.
Today, Nirmala and her husband took
us to Cape Hope. The scenery along the way was breathtaking.

On the way, we came across a wild
ostrich.
And finally to Cape Hope. On the
right is the Atlantic and on the right is the Indian Ocean.
Being moved by the sight, I brought my hands together
to pray. Nirmala, who is a Yoga instructor from India, followed
with her prayers too.

This is the famous Cape Point.
With Nirmala and her husband, Richard.
My very first seminar in Cape Town was held at
the hotel that we stayed. There was no interpreter so I did my
seminar in English. I think I did ok.

Even though it was in the middle
of the day on a weekday, the venue was full.

And I received a standing ovation
in the end. I think the Cape Town spirit is happy too.

And surprisingly, that turtle came in to the venue
to listen to my seminar too! (Probably the turtle just likes places
with lots of people.)

The day after the seminar, there was an event planned
at the city’s aquarium. Both my wife and I like animals so we
went there a little early to take a tour of the place. First were
the penguins.

There were some interesting looking
penguins.
Howbeautiful!!
I was told that there are large
sharks in the area.
The one hour seminar was planned in the aquarium
from 12 at noon. Before that though, we took photographs with
the ZERI Africa staffs who have organized the event.

During the seminar
After that, we conducted a water ceremony in front
of the large water tank. I gave the children the EMOTO PROJECT
book there as well.

We all prayed to the water here. (we combined all
the water that the children brought.)

I spoke briefly about the connection between prayers
and water to the people that gathered there.

As always, we all held hands and said thanks, love,
and respect to water.

And then we put our hands together
for a short meditation. Looks like the sharks behind us are taking
part in it too. What a beautiful sight.

This is the water that we all prayed
to.

After the whole ceremony, we took
photographs together. It seems a spirit has appeared to congratulate
us too. It was sooo much fun!

The last commitment in Cape Town for me was an
interview at one of the organizers, Ian’s spa.

The spa, MEDI-SPA is run by his family with many
different relaxation machines. He will be attending the Hado Instructor
school in Vienna this December. I have a feeling this will be
the base for Hado in South Africa.
He relieved my fatigue also with his Reiki healing.

When I arrived, it was too dark for
me to notice but there was a slum on the way to the airport and
directly saw the difference between the wealthy neighborhood that
the Caucasians are mostly living. It reminded me of the history
that this country has gone through.
