Grass
Valley is located about three hours drive away from San Jose at
the foot of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. I was told that the town
used to be busy with all the gold hunters. Currently, the population
of the total neighboring towns only adds up to about 20,000. The
reason why I was invited to a town like this is because many people
in the field of alternative medicine are moving in to this town
recently. The town seems to be growing in to a similar town as
Sedona in Arizona these days.
The day before, Takayo Harriman, a
Japanese woman who is a friend of the organizer of the seminar,
Suzy, came to pick us up at the hotel in San Jose. She is from
Hamamatsu in Japan and met her current husband there. She had
moved to the current location about 12 years ago. It always reminds
me that there are many strong Japanese women that live at many
different places in the world.
The road to the town was surrounded
by lush greenery and beautiful. I realized the vast size of the
country as I drove through the northern California. However, as
we neared Grass Valley, the weather started to turn bad and heavy
rain started to fall. It then turned to hail and the thunder started
as well.
Would anybody be coming to a seminar
in a place like this? I started to worry. By the time we reached
the hotel, it was getting darker and we didn’t see many people
on the street. The rain became harder and harder throughout that
night. I laid in my bed as I counted the sheep in my head as I
fell asleep that night.
However the next day, as I awoke and
opened up my curtain, a window full of light and sunshine welcomed
me. When I stepped out, the air was fresh, the place was full
of lush nature, and countless beautiful flowers bloomed everywhere.
The weather up on the mountain is so quick to change.

There were about 600 people at the
seminar that started at 7 at the town’s veterans’ hall. I was
surprised to see so many people in a tiny town. Everybody was
very friendly and warm.

The one in charge of the products
at this seminar was Hado Life USA (Hado Publishing USA changed
its name). In order to bring all the products lined up below,
my son, Hiro drove for 9 hours by himself from LA.
Thanks to everyone, most of those products sold out and Hiro drove
happily back home. All the people in Grass Valley, thank you.
And Suzy, thank you.

At the seminar, Ikuyo and Nancy who
are both Hado instructors drove about 3.5 hours from Petalma,
and San Jose to see me. It gives me great happiness to see the
Hado Instructors in an unfamiliar location.

By the way, Amy, another Hado instructor
was there at the LA seminar as well.

At today’s seminar, we had a guest
speaker as well, Dr. Bigelsen who I have previously introduced
in January 21st diary entry. He has been researching photographs
of bloods cells seen under the microscope for 25 years. It seems
that many people in the audience were able to resonate with his
finding that the blood can show visually a person’s physical and
psychological information.
I feel that one of my responsibilities
in life may be to help introduce research or findings such as
this one that many people may not have heard of since it was too
advanced.

a discussion between the two

As a result the audience gave us
a warm applause in the end. Great job Dr. Bigelsen.
