* April 30th, 2006 Nassau seminars

I totally relaxed here in Nassau, Bahamas though it was a three-day stay. I felt like it was a present from god after the hard experience.

Sivananda Ashram Yoga Retreat invited me to have a seminar on 29th and 30th. Bahamas are composed of lots of islands. I was invited by a dolphin school to visit Bimini island five yars ago. This is a sightseeing resort full of tourist mainly of Americans.

I had seminar at this typical tropical sight.

The port of Nassau is like a base of luxury liners.

The organizer, Rukmini. She is from Israel.
Soon after the seminar, I was asked to come back next year. I was happy to hear that.

* April 27th, 2006  Tampa seminar

Regarding the Jamestown seminar, I heard that Natalie worked it out. She made a fine job in front of the audience of 130 people. After the seminar, about 30 people left there and had an exciting talk with her.

Hearing this, I was really moved and thought that I was right for me to do the Hado Instructor schools.
And my second try for the entry to America. Lots of people gave advice and introduced attorneys to me. I prepared paper works perfect. Then I tried to call American consulate in Toronto, but in vain.

I spent 24th and 25th of May in the hotel for nothing. But when I checked the website of the organizer of Tampa seminar on 27th, I found that it was sold out. So, five hundred people will be waiting for me! I made up mind never to surrender. “I must go to Tampa tomorrow.”

The next morning, I went to Toronto airport with Love & Thanks band on my right wrist that one of my readers gave me in America, saying myself “I practice Love & Thanks whatever happens.”
As a result, it was unbelievably easy to go through the immigration gate. This must be because the staff members of IHM had prayed for us. Thank you everybody!

At today’s seminar, Love Foundation titled me “Love Ambassador”. Wow! I really appreciate it.

At the seminar in Tampa.
I was happy to have standing ovation.

Patti, the organizer of this seminar.
I am terribly sorry to have troubled her, but she always believed in me. Thank you.

* April 23th, 2006  Quite a lot happened today.

This was quite a day.

I gave a keynote presentaion in the morning. It was the Louise Hay who introduced me. When she turned up on the stage, the audience gave big cheers for the unexpected happening.

What surprised me was her speech: “I haven’t visited Canada for a long time. But now I’m here to meet Dr. Emoto.” I was really moved by her words.

Thanks to her, my 90 minutes presentation got warmed up from the beginning to the end. It went by like a flash to me. At the end, we prayed in gassho position for the four Canadian soldiers who were killed in Afghanistan.

People Praying in Earnest

After the presentation, I had lunch with Dr. Shah and his staff. He is a great qigong practitioner who uses his power for world peace. I gave a comment for his book that was published recently. He said that he is going to have a convention praying for peace on a regular basis with a woman engaging in peace movement.

Everything was going well till this point. Now, something awful happened to us.
We left Toronto at 3pm driving for Jamestown, New York for a seminar organized by Michael who is a Hado instructor living there. He came to meet me in Colombia and told his plan of the seminar. When we came to the border, I and my wife were refused entry to America by some misunderstanding.

Maybe our paperwork was inappropriate. In addition, my poor English expression seemed to have offended the feelings of the woman in charge. She went mad and wouldn’t listen to me.

I and my wife were compelled to give all the ten fingerprints and taken a lot of photos of our face. We felt like we were criminals during the two hour investigation.

Then we had to go back to Toronto.

About 200 people were supposed to come to the seminar next day, and it would be difficult to make all of them know the cancellation. What to do?

Then, a Hado instructor Bree who was driving with us told me that Natalie who was a Hado instructor living in Toronto would attend the Jamestown seminar. Hearing this, I thought I should count on her help. I called her and asked about this. She kindly accepted my request.

I asked her to come to the hotel and have some rehearsal.
We went to bed past twelve midnight. It was a long and tiring day.

* April 22th, 2006  Hay House Convention

A dinner party was held by Hay House. It was those who would take part in “I CAN DO IT” convention that were invited.

Hay House is one of the biggest publishers that deal with spirituality in America, and the publisher of my “The Message from Water III”. The convention will be held May 6 in Las Vegas, and I am going to participate it, too.

At the center is Ms. Louise Hay, the founder and the owner of Hay House. She looked much younger than she really is. She was such a kind woman that I understood why everyone who knew her speaks well of her.

She herself a writer and her books are published in Japan, too. I would like to quote from the introduction of her book by the Japanese publisher.

The book full of words of miracles that has changed the life of 30 million people all over the world, written by the author who overcame cancer by the power of words.
”Love and accept yourself as you really are.” “Everything is going to work out well.” You only have to say a simple sentence to have everything going well. This book, full of simplest and most effective words, got applauded as soon as it was published. It has changed the life of eight million American people, thirty million in the world.
In particular, the words that cure the disease attracted a lot of attention. There are about two hundred fifty diseases introduced that could be cured by saying the sentence. For example, depression can be cured by “I am the creator of my life”.
The author overcame cancer just by the power of words without surgery or medicine, so her words are very convincing.
This book will bring you love, success, wealth and health.

With Ms. Candice Pert, who is in the movie “What the bleep?”. I met her in Santa Monica last spring.

With Mr. Gregg Braden, who is a reputed writer.

I met Ms. Sonia Choquette for the first time, who is a healer and writer. She has a very beautiful taste. I feel we will work together someday.

With Mr. Darren Weissman and his wife, Sarit. Darren is a healer and studies the energy of Love and Thanks. I got a feeling that something good is going to happen between us.

* April 21th, 2006  At Toronto

I arrived at Toronto, Canada, yesterday. My wife was waiting for me at the airport. Since she had a lot to take care of in Japan, she joined me about ten days later. We both wanted to run towards each other and give a big hug and a kiss but we are both old style Japanese couple, we said a short hello and a very light hug.

The next evening, I went to a farm on the outskirt of the city to attend a party that was organized by a Hado Instructor, Bree.

The blue blouse which there is centrally is Bree.

“It’s only about 30, 40 minutes drive” was what my assistant Kimiko said but we let the hotel at 7pm and it was already 8:30pm by the time I arrived there. I guess the understanding of time differs very much between us Japanese people and the rest of the world…

However, as I started sipping on a glass of wine and exchanged pleasant conversation with the guests, I did regain much of my pleasantness. I had a chance to give a short speech and book signing.

Everybody listened to my talk attentively. There were some children there as well.

Also Natalie and Calvin from the second Hado instructor school and Michael from the third came to see me there. In a group of about 100 people, I was very happy to see three Hado Instructors.

I was able to speak to the owner of the farm, Gay. She had bought a 1000 acre land for organic farming. She had just had her first harvest last week with the help of some local students. She happily shared her dreams with me.

With Gay. I would love to see her at least once a year.

There I recommended growing hemp and becoming a model farm for hemp growing and farming. If this is possible, I told her I will visit her at least once a year. She had gladly accepted my advice and said she should try. Of course she will need a special permission to grow the plant in Canada but if it becomes possible, I will definitely like to visit there every year. And I hope we can create an annual event there to promote the usefulness of hemp.

With all these excitments, it was past midnight by the time I returned back to the hotel. I was pretty tired but was thankful for an interesting and fun evening.

* April 19th, 2006  Seattle Seminar

Seattle was the city that I started my 13 city tour from the west coast to the east coast of the US two years ago. Crystal from East West bookstore who was the organizer of the seminar was there to pick me up then. That seminar was a full house and ended very well. That seminar started off the 12 following great seminars. So this city is like a good luck city for me.

Today’s seminar was the third one in this city and as you can see many people came to hear me again.
Until the last seminar I thought my popularity was a only a temporally thing because of the What the Bleep. However, as I watched the audience listening to me, I am starting to feel that the people are starting to get interested in the water, water crystals, and my numerous theories about the water and the world. I am very happy about this.

lots of smiles in the audience

Shanti, who I met at Samui in Thailand last year, came to join me at the seminar after a six hours drive from a town called Eugene in Oregon. Those of you that have read my diary of the time I met her would know that she created had created music to the words of Dr. Shioya’s Grand Invocation. She performed that music at the seminar today and we all sang along in Japanese.

Shanti singing the Grand Invocation in Japanese

Right after all of us sang the Grand Invocation together.

What is that numerous ropes of light? Is it just because of an unsteady hand taking the photograph? As many of you suspected, I had explained about the prayer ceremony conducted by Lake Biwa on July 25th of 1999 lead by Dr. Shioya and its outcome newspaper article right before taking this photograph. I am hoping to spread Dr. Shioya’s Grand Invocation in Japanese to as many people as I can.

Unfortunately, I am not able to contact Dr. Shioya (he is currently 104 years old, his family is taking a good care of him) but if any of you have a chance to talk to him, I hope you can mention about this incident. I think he will be very happy to hear this.

* April 17th, 2006  Grass Valley Seminar

Grass Valley is located about three hours drive away from San Jose at the foot of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. I was told that the town used to be busy with all the gold hunters. Currently, the population of the total neighboring towns only adds up to about 20,000. The reason why I was invited to a town like this is because many people in the field of alternative medicine are moving in to this town recently. The town seems to be growing in to a similar town as Sedona in Arizona these days.

The day before, Takayo Harriman, a Japanese woman who is a friend of the organizer of the seminar, Suzy, came to pick us up at the hotel in San Jose. She is from Hamamatsu in Japan and met her current husband there. She had moved to the current location about 12 years ago. It always reminds me that there are many strong Japanese women that live at many different places in the world.

The road to the town was surrounded by lush greenery and beautiful. I realized the vast size of the country as I drove through the northern California. However, as we neared Grass Valley, the weather started to turn bad and heavy rain started to fall. It then turned to hail and the thunder started as well.

Would anybody be coming to a seminar in a place like this? I started to worry. By the time we reached the hotel, it was getting darker and we didn’t see many people on the street. The rain became harder and harder throughout that night. I laid in my bed as I counted the sheep in my head as I fell asleep that night.

However the next day, as I awoke and opened up my curtain, a window full of light and sunshine welcomed me. When I stepped out, the air was fresh, the place was full of lush nature, and countless beautiful flowers bloomed everywhere. The weather up on the mountain is so quick to change.

There were about 600 people at the seminar that started at 7 at the town’s veterans’ hall. I was surprised to see so many people in a tiny town. Everybody was very friendly and warm.

The one in charge of the products at this seminar was Hado Life USA (Hado Publishing USA changed its name). In order to bring all the products lined up below, my son, Hiro drove for 9 hours by himself from LA.
Thanks to everyone, most of those products sold out and Hiro drove happily back home. All the people in Grass Valley, thank you. And Suzy, thank you.

At the seminar, Ikuyo and Nancy who are both Hado instructors drove about 3.5 hours from Petalma, and San Jose to see me. It gives me great happiness to see the Hado Instructors in an unfamiliar location.

left: Nancy right: Kimiko, our staff

By the way, Amy, another Hado instructor was there at the LA seminar as well.

Amy Hallows

At today’s seminar, we had a guest speaker as well, Dr. Bigelsen who I have previously introduced in January 21st diary entry. He has been researching photographs of bloods cells seen under the microscope for 25 years. It seems that many people in the audience were able to resonate with his finding that the blood can show visually a person’s physical and psychological information.

I feel that one of my responsibilities in life may be to help introduce research or findings such as this one that many people may not have heard of since it was too advanced.

a discussion between the two

As a result the audience gave us a warm applause in the end. Great job Dr. Bigelsen.

* April 15th, 2006  Santa Cruz Seminar

We arrived at the San Jose airport after about an hour flight from LA. Doji from the Gateway Bookstore that was organizing the seminar was there waiting for me. He was the one that organized my seminar last year as well.

On the right is Doji and the one on the left is Salita.

This spiritual bookstore is a nonprofit bookstore run by an Indian ashrum affiliates. Doji is also a Yoga instructor and his parents have immigrated to the States from India about half a century ago. The store not only sells books but also sells other different products. It’s the store atmosphere that we don’t see often in Japan. There are many such bookstores in this country and are doing well. They help to point to the country’s two different sides.

As you can see, my books and products are sold there too. They told me those are one of their main products right now.

The seminar was conducted in a same place as last year. At an old American theater, I setting I really enjoy. When I came here last February, the whole 680 seats were filled and there was a line of about 200 people waiting for the door to open. Someone started calling me the new rock star so ever since then, that name stuck with me as a nickname in this town.

Of course there were not as many people this year but still were about 400 people this year. I was able to conduct the seminar in a very pleasant atmosphere. I was very happy to hear that many people said “come again next year” in the end.

For those of you that wants to read the diary from my last year’s visit, please click below. It’s the diary of February 12th.

7th back to Japan

Today I had the very first seminar of the series in LA. As you can see from the photograph, it ended well in a standing ovation. An unusual thing today was that I presented the seminar mostly in English.

It was to prepare myself for visiting places that may not necessarily have translators that can speak Japanese to the local language readily available. However, it was tiring and my English is still not very good. I need more practice but what would the outcome be…?
Please look forward to the upcoming diary entries.

The audience gave me a warm standing ovation even with my bad English.

It took me a whole 24 hours to return back home from Puerto Rico day before yesterday. And yesterday, Saturday, I came in to the office to have a meeting with Hans Schindler (see March 9th diary) who flew in from Austria, and to prepare for my seminar today. So I’m quite tired.

As you can see from the photograph below, many people attended that 2nd Hado Medicine Celebration that was held today. This gathering was organized by Dr. Akira Kawashima of Tokyo Women’s Medical College. He is a medical doctor but is trying to create a society in which there is no necessity for a doctor. I have been supporting him and the organization by taking up the post as the top advisor. Dr. Kawashima is also a Hado Instructor.

I was able to meet Dr. Shinichirou Terayama there as well. Surprisingly, he was in a traffic accident the day before and had injury that required hospitalization for most people. However, he stood on the stage at the beginning of the cerebration and greeted all without showing any difficulty. Unfortunately though, he was not able to perform a piece with his cello (he had broken his fingers). But he was such a strong man that he was present all the way through until the after party.

Hans Schindler spoke at the gathering as well. The seminar was translated by Fukiko Kai, an IHM staff. He spoke about ETAScan, a Hado measuring device that takes into account the kotodama, the spirit of the words. I would like to come back to this device sometime soon for more detail.

Instead of Dr. Wardha who could not come, Yasu Nemoto, a IHM staff, spoke about the Pranic Healing.

This is when I’m signing books at the IHM booth. I was able to see many old Hado friends. It was a fun

* April 5th, 2006  At Puerto Rico(4)

I had another seminar at a beautiful museum in Ponce, a city located about hour and a half from San Juan on the 4th. On the 5th, I was invited by Sra. Luisa Gandara de Acevedo Vila, the country’s First Lady to the magnificent Governor’s house.

The only entrance to the house is guarded heavily.

Puerto Rico was introduced to the outside world by the Spanish people in 1493, the year after Columbus reached the Americas. Therefore, it has over 500 years of history. I was surprised by the architecture and the way the city was laid out.

Let me now take you around the Governor’s house. The place is currently still in use by the governor.

This is the waiting room.

The mirror room

Library

A beautiful court yard

All rooms were richly decorated.

The room that Jacqueline Kennedy stayed in.
There also was a room that the JFK had stayed in but my wife forgot to take a photograph.

You can see the whole Bay of San Juan from the house.

We peeked in the kitchen. I heard they don’t usually let people in here.

they made the cookies for me.
(we had some at the meeting with the First Lady later)

Another beautiful room.

Another mirror room

The official dining room, maybe a meeting here next time…

Don’t you think I fit in well in this room?

The meeting room that I met the First Lady in.

The left is the wife of Puerto Rico’s governor.
She has her own project of giving books to children every year till they are five years old.
She was very interested in my children’s book project as well.
I think Puerto Rico will soon see this book too.

I started the short presentation again.
To my left is the First Lady.

With the First Lady on the roof of the house.

We sent the love and thanks to water there.

There were two big cruise ships at the port.

We stopped by at a café for some beer after over two hours of speaking with the First Lady. Next to me is Carmen, she is a Hado Instructor too. She had worked very hard this time to make this whole trip to Puerto Rico possible. Thank you Carmen, it was a great success.

And with her husband, Salvatore. He is a lawyer but has an extensive knowledge of the spiritual world too. They were a perfect couple. The week went by very fast. Thank you everyone!

We went to a restaurant, Dragonfly, that night.
The owner of the place turned out to be my fan.

And her too. She came running after me for a photograph together.
The Message from Water is already spread through this small tropical island too. I am very grateful.
Well, I’ll be going back to Japan tomorrow. I’ll see you all again on this page!

* April 3rd, 2006  At Puerto Rico(3)

I had a seminar at San Juan, the capital, today. But before that, I had an hour and half TV interview at the beautiful garden of a museum that I was to speak at.

The question of the interview was asked in English and I answered in Japanese.
To my right is Hiromi, the interpreter.

The music hall in the museum was built about 7,8 years ago An international Casals’ concert is held every year at the main hall here. (Casals – an internationally known Spanish Cellist. He married a 20 years old Puerto Rican woman when he was 60 and lived in this country ever since.)
My seminar was held at the sub hall of this building.

Many people came.

Carmen, the organizer of the seminar and the Hado Instructor was very thoughtful. She had her friend, a guitarist, perform “Sakura” before the seminar. The music was great, and led me to take a certain action.

Yes, I started to sing “Sakura”.
“My wife was born on March 30th, when the cherry blossom is blooming. Perhaps because of this, she loves cherry blossoms. The cherry blossom must be in full bloom at this moment in Japan but in reality, she has not had the chance to enjoy the flower very much for the last six years. This is because she started to travel with me all around the world to take care of me. So please let me sing today to show her my appreciation.” I said.

The hall had great acoustic effects so it felt very good to sing there. I bowed far to the audience after the song.

I received a big round of applause at the end of the seminar. My wife has been looking after me quite well.

* April 1st, 2006  At Puerto Rico(2)

The second day in Puerto Rico. There was an interview on radio and a water ceremony at a lake there.

Carmen, her husband, and I spoke at a Spanish radio station that can be heard throughout the Americas from two this afternoon.

The interview was two and half hours long without a translator. There were some complicated interview questions as well and my English skill was not good enough to answer fully. Hopefully I will have a right translator in the next occasion.

I may create a little buzz in the Spanish speaking community.

From six that evening, I joined the water ceremony at a lake side. This Lake Karaiso is an important water source for the citizens here. However, probably due to the pollution, there has been an unusual growth of a foreign specie plant which is destroying the local eco system.

Many people participated in the ceremony (about 150). It was the very first water ceremony in Puerto Rico. There were children and parents from the school yesterday as well.

I explained to the people of showing love, thanks, and respect to water as I let the ceremony.

After the prayer, we all hummed the Symphony No. 9 together.

with the Puerto Rican flag that a child gave to us.
The grass you see in the background is the one that’s creating the problem.

* March 31th, 2006  At Puerto Rico

Yesterday, I left the hotel at 6:20 in the morning and climbed on a plane to Miami at 8:30. We arrived in Miami a little earlier than originally thought. However, since the computer at the immigration was having a problem, we had to wait in line for over an hour. This caused us to miss the flight to Puerto Rico and it was 9 o’clock at night when we finally arrived at San Juan airport. I was pretty tired by then.

There seems to be increasing amounts of computer problems at the American immigration lately. I’ve experienced similar type of problems few times already. I told the immigration officer that they should try Japanese computers next time.

I was pleasantly surprised to see the beautiful beach and the Caribbean Sea when I woke up this morning.

An early morning TV interview was waiting for me here as well. My wife stayed behind at the hotel. The photograph above was taken by her. The time shows 7:45 in the morning. Yes, I once again had to wake up at 6 to be at the TV station by 7.

I returned to the hotel for breakfast after that and attended a joint press conference at Lawyers’ Hall that started at 10:30. The lady on my left is Hiromi Shiba, she’s been living in Puerto Rico for 20 years. To my left is a Hado Instructor, Carmen. And the one on the far left is a famous local artist that created a wonderful poster with water crystals.

Autographing the poster together.
He had offered to donate all profit made by the poster to the EMOTO project.

After a quick lunch following the press conference, we visited an elementary school that is located about 30 minutes away. There was something wonderful awaiting for me.

First of all, right when I entered the school there was a poster in the hall way. I was surprised at the pictures and words on that poster.

It said water we love you, appreciate you, and take care of you, and welcomed me for coming in Spanish.

Children that were waiting for me

they were very adorable

They all had a piece of paper with their own question for me. The questions were simple, yet very thoughtful. The first question was “why do we have to take care of water?”

Afterwards, they showed me a prayer ceremony for water that they do everyday. There was a poster of water crystals that the children wrote placed on the floor under the water.

We poured our feelings to the water there. They all said, “water we love you, water we thank you, water we respect you”. I was very touched by this and felt tears brimming in my eyes.

After the prayer for water, Carmen, my wife, and I gave the children crystal stickers to stick on their forehead.

A mother had it on too.

There were samples of water from different places that the children had collected. They pray to this water everyday too.

A photograph with the faculty and the parents. The one on my left is the principle of the school. I wanted some of those Japanese physics professors that are criticizing about introducing what is not proven science to the classroom to have experienced this as well. It was such a moving special class for the children and myself.
