* Wednesday, Dec 29, 2004 Emergency Notice

Please forward this message to everyone you know.

Prayers can limit the secondary disaster.
To everyone in the world,
let us offer a prayer of love to the Indian Ocean rim countries!!

I feel terribly sorry for the loss that has been caused by the biggest catastrophe of tsunami in history. I am utterly lost for words to offer for the deceased and their family. I just pray to god that their souls shall rest in peace.

Just today, WHO has released a warning for the possible emergence of epidemics. It has reported that at the moment, the hygiene has dramatically worsened, and the epidemic such as cholera could spur in any minute. If so, as many people could die from infectious diseases as were killed by the tsunami.

As a Hado (vibration) researcher, I am truly worried about this disaster. As well as the hygiene issue, I feel that the “vibrational fields” of the countries have extremely deteriorated. The “field” is created by feelings of fear, grief, worry, lack of trust, anger, loneliness, and helplessness, and could energize the malevolent microorganisms that prefer this kind of environment.

People cannot help but have these feelings, and they probably carry the feelings with them. Many people feel this way, and there seems to be some plundering going on, but their feeling of anger and hostility can only multiply the negativity of the “field”. Also, we must take into account the emergence of a new epidemic.

We have to limit the negative field in any way possible. I believe that there is already a spreading Hado (vibration) of fear due to the terrorist attack and bombing, and it is like a gasoline station with an oil leak that is about to explode.

What can we do? The only way is for people from all over the world to pray for the recovery of the affected area. The prayer will definitely carry far with the purity of its Hado. Therefore, from today, let’s close our eyes for a few second before our meal and send words of prayer to the countries. Let’s send a prayer for them before we go to sleep. Also, when we pray during the end of year and the new year ceremony, let us send a prayer first and foremost for world peace.

Through the research of the water crystal over the last ten years, I have proven that people’s pure energy of consciousness can change the water in areas that people have prayed for, regardless of the distance. Also, the most effective Hado prayer is the feeling of Love and Thanks. Now is the time to send everyone’s feeling of Love and Thanks to the earth’s water.

A water crystal of water that was exposed
to a word "Love and Thanks"

Ms. Nobuyo Kosaka is a widow of Wado Kosaka (the author of Takenouchi Document) who passed away two years ago in October at age 54. I had not met hear before but I personally wanted to meet her invited her to my office today.

Here is the reason why I invited her. I received an e-mail from William Arntz, the director of the movie, “What the Bleep Do We Know!?” in the early December. He wrote, “I came home and found a very interesting book in my bag as I was unpacking. The book is called ‘Takenouchi Document’. I can’t remember who gave it to me but I am very interested in this book. Some of my friends are interested in it too. Will you send some more copies?”

As soon as I read his message, I remembered a name card I received from one of the staffs at the festival on November 27th. It was Ms. Nobuyo Kosaka’s name card. “She must have given the book to Will” I thought and had it confirmed by my secretary. This went on while I was in Los Angeles so I made an appointment to see her as soon as I came back to Japan.

The Takenouchi Document is an ancient historical document that had been passed on in the Takenouchi family who was the overseer of Kousou Koutai Shrine. I have had different occasions for the past eight years to get to know this document that many people say is a forgery. Mr. Kosaka was one of the most famous researchers of the Takenouchi Document. His book was first published in 1995 and has been pretty popular. (The book I have is the 10th edition, printed in July of 2000). I have had an interview with Mr. Kosaka that was published as an article in the magazine Hado about two years ago. He had asked me then to introduce him to a foreign publisher to print the English version of his book. However, he passed away just about two months after that meeting and that plan was forgotten.

Today, I told Mrs. Kosaka about that plan but she did not know anything about it. She was not very involved with her husband’s work while he was alive. She only got involved after her husband passed away when she realized that she was the one that had to keep her husband’s work going. So it was only recently that the English version of the book was completed.

I feel that what we had planned is finally taking shape and I would like to help out in any way possible. I have a feeling that there will be more interesting developments concerning this book as times time goes on. I will be mentioning them on this site as things develop.

* Sunday, Dec. 19, 2004 A small seminar in a garden

There was no seminar scheduled during my stay in Los Angeles this time. However, it just didn’t feel right not to even have a single seminar while oversea. My body must have adjusted to the life of giving seminars since I have been doing so for the last four years, at least four times a week. I’ve become not a workaholic but a seminarholic.

Right when I was missing giving seminars, my son came up to me and said, “It’s a short notice but a certain mediation group found out about you being in Los Angeles and wanted to host a small seminar. Would you be interested?” Of course, I agreed without a hesitation. That was about three days ago.

Today was that seminar day. It was at a small private home near a famous yacht harbor called Marina Del Ray. I was surprised at how small the place was. Even in the biggest room, it looked like the maximum capacity would be about 10. “We’re going to have the seminar here?”

“No, not in here, we will do it outside in the garden” my son replied. The garden was about 60 square yards with about 30 fold up chairs and a small screen for the slide. That day was a perfectly sunny and beautiful with a clear blue sky. I was a little worried if the slide will show in this bright daylight but the host brought some cloth to put up around the screen. It also helped that my new projector that I just bought were pretty powerful.

The seminar started from 1:30 instead of 1:00 but with a full !? audience, my very first outdoor seminar began. Thanks to Ron Kato for his great translation, or maybe because it’s been a while that I gave a talk, that things went so well, I talked on and on. Ron had to leave at 3:30 but Natsuko Sakai, the translator for the April seminar, switched over and my talk lasted on until about five. The seminar ended up to be about three and a half hours.

Even with a short notice, the audience all stayed until the end and hopefully enjoyed themselves.

For your information, I just love talking.

* Thursday, Dec. 16, 2004 To San Francisco

I went to San Francisco today with my son to meet Manfred. He is a foreign publishing consultant working worldwide. We met up with Hazaka general manager from Japan at San Francisco airport before going to his office. We were introduced to Manfred by Koha publishing’s Konrad in Germany. He suggested that we talk to him since Manfred has over 30 years of experience in international publishing.

The reason why Hazaka general manager came all the way to the States was because we felt that as the head manager of my company, IHM, he should come and see the American market as well as meet the people in order to plan for the future. We are predicting that there will especially be more demand on different published works in the near future.

Manfred’s office was located on a beautiful hill right past the Golden GateBridge. His house is not very far from it either. The office in itself speaks for how successful and talented he is at his job.

We learned a lot about the world of publishing in the USA and the rest of the world. Hazaka told me later that he realized if we are going to be working globally, we need advice from a pro like him, or even have someone like that on the team, and work according to the rule of that particular area. As for me, I learned a lot more from the conversation we had over dinner and sake at a Japanese restaurant later that night rather than the detailed talks of business. Everything should start from getting to know each other and learning to trust that person. He looks good doesn’t he?

* Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2004 Miranda’s Workshop

I went to see Miranda’s workshop at Santa MonicaUniversity tonight. I wanted to learn how she conducts her healing. The venue was nice and the 100 or so participants all had good hado (vibration), I ended up enjoying the whole experience.

The pictures on the left are the pictures of the pets.

It started with about half an hour of Miranda’s talk followed by the consultation and healing of the relationship between the pet and the owner by her. The analysis of the relationship is done by Miranda looking at the pictures of the pet that the owner brings in. The owners receive some practical advice and consultations leaving them satisfied and encouraged. I’m sure this will be popular in Japan as well.

There were some people that had brought their dogs but pets do not mean just cats and dogs but any animal. I saw some people bring pictures of their pet horse and bird.

The most surprising thing was the next session. Watching this convinced me that writing a book with her is not a mistake. That session involved a participant holding a bowl of water for about ten minutes while Miranda talks to that water and perceives the problems that that person is having.

It was just like my hado consulting using a machine called MRA. I need a machine to do this, but she does not require any. Her whole body is like a sensor and a healing medium. I have always thought that there will be a woman like this that will appear in front of me, and Miranda is the one. After her presentation, she introduced me to everyone there. I got to talk to them for just about 20 minutes. I was surprised that 60 of my books, Message from Water was sold at that place. From my past experience, only about 30 books were usually sold in a crowd of 100 people. Maybe it’s not a good idea to talk and show different slides too much if I wanted to sell more books...

Either way, please look forward to our book coming out soon!

* Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2004 Interview with Miranda (2)

About five months after that Los Angeles seminar, I had a seminar at Santa Fe on September 12th. Thanks to the movie, the hall that seated 820 people was full as well as about 200 people that could not fit in. And there at the seminar, in front again were the two of them. I learned later that Miranda’s house is in Santa Fe and her office is in Los Angeles.

I gave them a small nod from the stage and started my talk. It felt great to speak in front of such an engaging audience as they laughed at my jokes. I came to the part of my seminar about resonance as I did the usual demonstration using a tuning fork. Right after I voiced my “ahh”, I heard Whisper bark loudly. I had forgotten that she was there so I was very surprised. “This is resonance” I explained to the audience right away though. The hall was filled with laughter at that moment.

With that incidence, I was determined to write a book together with Miranda. I shared my idea with her at the end of my seminar. She was very receptive and happy about it.

Three months after that, I am currently back in Los Angeles to keep the promise we made together. The interview was conducted for two days, yesterday and today, along the rough outline that I had planned earlier. Even with two interpreters (for sign language for Miranda and English for me) which made a conversation four times as long, the talk was very interesting and enjoyable. It really helped that my translator, Natsuko Sakai (she translated for me in April) went to Miranda’s seminar twice to learn about her before this interview.

Interview conducted at my son’s office in Los Angeles.

I am hoping that we can publish the book both in Japan and the USA at the same time around May of next year. I have not yet contacted any publishers so if anybody is interested please get in contact with me. The content will be something along the line of “A man that made us see the invisible world. A woman that made us hear the world of silence.”

* Monday, Dec. 13, 2004 Interview with Miranda (1)

The main reason I am here in Los Angeles this time is to have an interview with Miranda. We are thinking about writing a book together. I have mentioned about her in some past diary entries but here is how I got to know her and why I want to write a book with her:

It was during the Los Angeles seminar this April. I noticed a beautiful woman sitting in the front with a dog. She seemed to be somewhat different from the rest of the audience. Her big Golden Retriever was sitting besides her owner quietly. The dog seemed to be looking between my slide pictures and her owner.

When I explain about resonance using a tuning fork, I say “ahh” in a loud voice. As I did that this time tough, the dog stood up and looked restless as she walked around in a circle. I was hoping that she would bark, demonstrating what exactly a resonance is. However, her owner quieted her down and made her curled up besides her again.

I wanted very much to get to know that dog after the seminar, for me as well as for my dog loving wife. Surprisingly, that dog and her owner were at the after party as well (see the picture below). As I learnt about the dog and her owner, I finally understood.

Miranda and Whisper the Hearing Service Dog

She was in an accident and slowly lost her hearing ability. She became close to deaf about 15 years ago. The dog she was with was named Whisper and was her guide dog. Because the dog was trained as a guide dog and trained not to bark, he was being restless during the seminar even though he wanted to resonate with me and bark.

I also learned that she can communicate with not only dogs but with any living animals. So Whisper was telling Miranda which crystal pictures she liked and which ones she disliked from my slide show during the seminar. Miranda told me that her dog had the same kinds of reactions to the pictures as we humans do. I was truly happy to know that my pictures can be understood not only by the humans but by different animals as well. That is when I thought about writing a book together with Miranda.

(continue tomorrow)

* Saturday, Dec. 11, 2004 Business trip to Los Angeles

I will be at Hado Publishing USA in Los Angeles for the next ten days. This office was set up about three months ago by my son, Hiromasa and his wife, Jaime. Since I am gaining more popularity in the USA, this is like a new base in that country to do business more efficiently.

The temporally office is just about 20 minutes from the Los Angeles airport and very convenient. The office distributes my books throughout the American market. I was happy and relieved to see the young newlyweds doing well. They unexpectedly got married about a year ago without much of a consulting with us, but since Jaime is better in English than my son (she’s from the Philippines) they seem to be working well helping each other out.

I had dinner with Ron Kato, a great translator that helped me at my previous seminar. He is a third generation Japanese American and had been working for a long time with an organization by Mokichi Okada, a descendant of Sekaikyuseikyo, and truly understands my ideas. He has agreed to translate for the upcoming American seminars as well. I believe that we will be keeping in close contact with him since he also has an MBA on marketing from an American university.

From the front left, my son and his wife, Ron
Front right is my other son.

I brought my other son from Japan instead of my wife this time. I am happy to be able to have such an enjoyable dinner with my family and friends even though I am overseas.

I was looking forward to today because I will be giving a lecture in front of university students at Osaka University of Economics. I have only given a lecture in front of students once at Hokkaido’s RakunouGakuenUniversity before Message from Water was published. I have given lectures at universities overseas such as Harvard and University of San Paulo but I guess the professors in Japan are still too conservative.

I learnt after meeting Dr. Tokunaga, the host for my lecture, that he is a very open minded progressive person. He often brings in unique guests that is running some interesting research, or a farmer that is growing Japan’s largest watermelon to his class. The quality of a university really depends on its professors.

I was all worked up to give a great lecture but it turned out to be a disappointment. There were about 200 students but all of them were very quiet. Being quiet is a good thing but I just couldn’t see or hear any reaction from them. One student was actually asked to leave because he was playing with his cell phone during the class.

Seminar at OsakaUniversity of Economics

There probably were many students that were listening to me intently (as there were about five students that asked questions after my talk) but there just was no resonance to what I was doing. They were all expressionless and even when I asked all of them to join me in a song, nobody did.

Even when I showed them the pictures of crystals where most people will show their surprise, smile, or sigh, these students did not react at all. I was very disappointed at Japan’s current educational system, especially because I had a high expectation for this lecture. I even thought about putting more emphasis on kindergarten and elementary aged children from now on.

I had a small after party with Dr. Tokunaga and some of his friends and learnt that he also had some doubts about the current educational system and has been talking with likeminded people about starting up something new. His effort in inviting different guests to speak is the manifestation of that thought. I expressed my interest in helping him in any way I can as I left to go home. Wow, what a tiring day.

* Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2004 Dinner with the Seto family

I had a dinner/meeting with the Seto family (Ryusuke, Elaine, and Hanayo) and talked about how to spread their wonderful song, Water Song, to the rest of the world. Hazaka and my wife were at the dinner as well. I already have plans to tour around the world next year so I shared my ideas about wanting to let everyone in the world listen to this song and use it at my seminar opening. They were very happy to hear my plan and we had a nice time bouncing off ideas at the dinner.

With Ryusuke and Elaine Seto

Hanayo Seto

The lyric was based on the following poem that I wrote:

We are all water
But how much do we really know about water?
Actually, we don't know anything
So, we don't know anything about our own selves
Like, where did we come from?
Why are we here?
And where would we go when we die?
We don't know anything.

We are all water
Water is actually from the Universe
So, we are also from the Universe
To give love and thanks to this earth
Once we are done with that, we will move on to another planet
If we cannot do what we were meant to do, then we stay and do it all over again
Until we can have love and thanks within ourselves.

We are all water
Let's understand water better
Then you can understand yourself better
Water's favorite words, Love and Thanks
And Harmony and Cycle
Let's express love and thanks to waterWater we love you
Water we thank you
Water we Respect you

With this poem, Ryusuke Seto was able to write a beautiful song:Here is the English version of it:

「WATER SONG」
Music by Aman Ryusuke Seto
Word by Luvian Hanayo Seto

Far across the universe, this shinning star,
Silver Blue, water star, Our Earth beautiful!
Flying through the Milky Way, river of light,
I wonder why I am here, standing on this Earth.

Why do we breath this air? Where do we go from here?
Let us ask ourselves, the water in each of us.
All we need is Love
All we need is a Thank You.
I will give this simple gift
All one in Harmony.

Listen to the voice within, the water inside of us,
Rippling through our soul, dancing Crystal clear.

Sing to her, a melody with soft angel voice.
You can change anything, delivering Harmony.

Raindrops falling from the sky, Nature's greatest gift.
Bringing blueness to our Earth, with Light of Love.

All we need is Love
All we need is a Thank You.
I will give this simple gift
All One in Harmony.

We can all hold our hands, sharing light and harmony.
Embracing our hearts, with Light of Love.

All we need is Love
All we need is a Thank You.
I will give this simple gift
All One in Harmony.
I will give this simple gift
All One in Symphony.

I heard the song countless times now but it never fails to produce goose bumps on my skin. The lyric, as well as the melody that Ryusuke had put together is just superb.

Ryusuke’s daughter, Hanayo is singing the main parts of the song. She has an attractive voice that is beautiful and pure. The water that heard this song produced a crystal that looked very much like the crystal of “love and thanks”.

Crystal of water that was shown
the words, “love/thanks”

Crystal of water that
heard “Water Song”

Please look forward to the day when I appear in your town with this song.

* Friday, Dec. 2, 2004 Pranic Healing, Dr. Hazel

I arrived back at my office around noon today. I had a meeting with Jakab from Hungary from three O’clock and then went to Nakano for a dinner with Dr. Hazel and her friends. Dr. Hazel had been conducting a Pranic healing seminar at NakanoSunPlaza.

Dr. Hazel hosted about three hundred people at the festival as well. And for the last four days, she was running two days of introductory and two days of advanced classes on Pranic healing. Today was that fourth day. The introduction of Pranic healing to Japan is starting off very well so far.

the 2nd day of the festival

Dr. Hazel Wardha’s lecture on Nov. 28th morning,

Dr. Hazel Wardha’s Pranic healing beginners workshop

I first met Dr. Hazel two years ago when she hosted my seminar at Melbourne in Australia. I was impressed by her ability to bring together 500 participants at that seminar. There, she expressed her interest in introducing Pranic healing to Japan. I promised her that I will do my best to find her an opportunity.

Half a year later, I met a woman called Burgi who gathered 1500 participants at Vienna and 1400 participants in Salzburg, Austria. Then, another half year later, I met Terry, who was a normal housewife but was able to gather 1200 participants in Minnesota, USA. The connection between these two women surprisingly, was that they were both practitioners of Pranic healing.

That night, we had a nice dinner at a small vegetarian restaurant in Nakano as we talked about our future plans. In the end, we agreed on Dr. Hazel coming back to Japan in Feburary for another seminar. For those of you interested in healing, this is a must! There will be more details on the January edition of Hado magazine.

* Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2004 Visiting Myoken Shrine in Fukuoka

I had a lecture at Fukuoka Citizen’s College this evening. This college is one of the numerous citizen’s colleges throughout Japan founded with the ideas presented by a mathematician, Dr. Kiyoshi Oka, about 40 years ago. I have already been invited to the same college in Fukuoka, Hiroshima, Koube, Kansai, Nagoya, and Sapporo. I’m sure there are many more such organizations run by semi volunteers inspired by Dr. Oka’s ideas. The lecture at Fukuoka branch is my second time. It is run by Mr. and Mrs. Higashino but I can imagine how running a place like this can be difficult with only about hundred people attending these type of lectures. I’m always willing to support them in any way I can.

Fukuoka Citizen’s College (in Japanese) --- http://www.fukuoka-cc.com/

Because I was inFukuoka for that lecture, Satonaka from Fukuoka Oohashi’s HCC (HadoCreativeCenter) suggested that all the friends in Kyushu (the Island that Fukuoka is in) get together for a dinner last night. At dinner, there were Dr. Takao from University of Kyuushu, Mr. and Mrs. Tamao, the instructors from Katsura, Kurikawa the aqua instructor, the members, Yasunaga, Dr. Wakimoto, and Mr. and Mrs. Satonaka.

And today around one, we went to worship Ryuujin, the god of water, at Myoken Shrine in Odo park by Hakata bay.

We all went to worship at Myoken Shrine

I had prepared a short reporting beforehand to read out loud in front of the god:

Reporting

To Myoken Shrine,I have successfully hosted the first International Water for Life Festival at Nihon Seinenkanon November 27th and 28th of 2004 with a total participant of 3500 people.

Along with that, I have proudly declared to the world the establishment on March 22nd, 2005, of a NPO, International Water for Life Foundation. For the next ten years, I pledge to do the best in realizing the true meaning and importance of water as god’s messenger to the people in the world.

I am happy to be able to report this determination as well as to give the deepest thanks to all the love and gratitude we are receiving from you continually.

December 1st, 2004
NPO International Water for Life Foundation
Founder, Masaru Emoto

I remember how I went to HaguroMountain in Yamagata’s DewasanMountains on November 22nd to pray for the success of the upcoming festival. I learnt there that its guardian god is the water in a small pond called Kagami pond. And now, the place I went to worship for the end of the festival was here in Myoken Shrine. It just seems like my movement to seek water is naturally leading me into the old sacred road of pilgrimage to different shrines.

An interesting cloud appeared.
